Herend Porcelain: In 1826, Vince Stingl opened what would become one of those most sought after porcelain factories. Beginnngs were more modest, as a mere manufacturer of earthenware pottery. When Stingl went bankrupt, things took off. His creditor took over, and now, exports the finest porcelain worldwide.
With Zsolnay Porcelain, Hungary is still considered among the most luxurious of porcelain exporters in the world.
